Digital Rewards are out

Hey White Ashians,

If you filled out your Backerkit survey, you should have an email from Backerkit with your digital rewards.  For most of you, that will be the White Ash Annual. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we did creating it. 

IF you backed at a catch-up tier or added additional digital rewards, everything should be there except:
Glarien: Origins 03
HISMWTC:03

Those two are still in production and will be sent as soon as they are completed. Physical rewards will start shipping out early next week. And the week after that, a reminder that we will be launching WHITE ASH: CHAPTER 08!

Make sure you're signed up on the prelaunch page to be notified the moment we go live.  This one is for all the marbles... or knives... or whatever Lillian has decided she wants.  Because trust me, she going to get it.

Digital Rewards Coming THIS WEEK, White Ash Chapter 08 Launches in 2 WEEKS

Hey White Ashians,

We hope you all are having an incredible weekend. We just wanted to drop a quick reminder, if you haven't filled out your survey yet, we will be sending out digital rewards this week and will begin shipping the Annual early next week. And in two weeks, on September 30th...

...White Ash Chapter Eight will finally be dropping on Kickstarter.

We were shocked to find out that it had been two years since the last issue. But that's what having a couple of babies will do to one's timeline.  But going forward, the goal is to put these out more on the regular. 

Chapter 08 is a 44 page issue.  We will be following that up next year with Chapter 09, a monstrous 64 page issue that will wrap up the second arc of the series.

We are also going to be reprinting White Ash DE as two single issues (Chapter 06 and 07) as part of this campaign as we've run VERY low on inventory and we need it for catch up tiers). This will be the first individual printings of these issues and the first time they feature our White Ash Comics Imprint dressing.

Those will be available as very low cost add-ons or as a cheap early bird bundle for the White Ash completists.

We'll be back with more details soon, but for now, make sure your annual surveys are in and you're signed up for our Chapter Eight kickstarter to be notified when we go live so you don't miss out on our early-bird specials and limited edition rewards.

Hello White Ashians,

The surveys were sent out earlier today. If you didn't get one, check your junk mail. If you can't find us, please DM me and I'll send you a direct link to your survey. 

We would love it if you could fill out and return your surveys by the 18th of September. Our plan is to send out digital rewards shortly thereafter and start shipping physical rewards the week of the 23rd. The books are printed and the PDF's are ready to send. The only thing we need now is the survey and we can make sure you all have the White Ash Annual. And then, we'll start talking about White Ash Chapter 08....

Thank you and the Road Ahead

Hello White Ashians,

Thank you again for your incredible and continued support. It's because of you that we're able to plan long-term, and know we can write White Ash and Glarien stories for many years to come.  

Now that the campaign is over, let's talk about the road ahead.

Okay, fine, we don't need a road, but we wanted you to know the plan.

And so do we. This time, we're thrilled to announce, the White Ash Annual is done, printed and here at White Ash HQ. This will make everything much easier in terms of fulfillment.  

But before we dive into The When, we wanted to give a  shout out to The Who -- the incredible artists who help bring White Ash and Glarien to life. Here are the links to their socials, if you’d like to get to know any of them better and give them a follow.

Also, with the current ever-changing nature of social media, if you like the kind of books we put out, I’d suggest giving me (Charlie) a follow on Kickstarter or joining our mailing list. That way you'll be sure to know when we're going to drop something new on Kickstarter.  And don't worry, we don't spam our backers with the mailing list.  We only send out one (maybe two when we have a KS live) blasts a month.  We try to keep you up to date on the comings and going of White Ash Comics and have fun artist interviews like this one we did recently with Mick Beyers.

But back to White Ash and what's next. For those of you who have been with us before, you know how we operate, but for those of you new to our world of books, here's schedule of things going forward.

Week One — Taking care of business. Kickstarter collects fees and backers who may have forgotten that their credit card has expired/was stolen/was maxed out buying tickets to see Deadpool and Wolvie for the 33rd time, will be given a chance to update it.  PLEASE CHECK and see if you're one of the 55 backers that have a notification from KS.  ALL CARDS NEED TO BE RESOLVED BY TUESDAY NIGHT.

(NOTE: If you're having financial difficulties, we understand. Kickstarter only gives a one-week window to resolve your card issues. If you need more time, message us. You’ll be able to resolve your card issues post-campaign in Backerkit.)

Week Two - Tell Us What We Need To Know  (around August 26th) — As soon as Kickstarter has finalized the backer list, we’ll send out our  Surveys. Please fill these out as quickly as possible. Our plan is to start fulfilling the campaign early next month.

Week Three - Here Come The Goods (around Sept 4th) — Once we have all the surveys back and we have your emails and addresses in hand, we'll send out all the catch-up PDF’s.  

Week Four — Here Come The Rest of The Goods -- Fulfillment begins. Starting Sept 9th, we’ll begin mailing out all the rewards. Our goal for this campaign is to finish by the end of September so that all backers, foreign and domestic, can have their rewards before the end of October.

We'll keep you updated on our fulfillment progress. The great thing about this campaign is we already have the books bagged and boarded and ready to ship. As soon as we get the surveys back, it’s go time. That said, If we hit any delays we'll make sure that you're kept firmly in the loop.

Hello White Ashians,

Thank you again to all of you returning and new to the series. I posted this on Twitter the other day, but I wanted to share it here as well, as you are all so much part of what we've been able to build together. 

SDCC 2018  How It Started -- 3 issues and one variant of White Ash.

SDCC 2024 How it's Going.  Booth built and supported by the White Ash Comics fanbase.

It's been an amazing ride. And being able to meet and interact with our fans is BY FAR the best part about San Diego. 

Conor and I were talking during the convention about how much we love that part of the experience. We wish we could (and hope one day to) meet all of you that have been part of our journey.  We love signing books for our fans and will NEVER charge for that at a convention.  We however know that not all of you can make it to San Diego (or other conventions we're at for that matter). So we thought it might be nice to sign a batch of White Ash #1's together at the booth. 

Conor, being Conor decided that he would remark ALL of them as well.

So if you would like a copy of the 1st print of White Ash #1 as published by Scout Comics signed by me and signed and remarked by Conor... they are now available as add ons.  We sell that book at the booth for $15, where we'd be happy to sign it for free. So that's what they're available for now.  Consider this an extension of the convention for our fans who couldn't make it there.
