Back with SDCC with news and Exclusives

Hey everyone,

Thank you, THANK YOU to all who stopped by the booth. SDCC this year was incredible. I will have many more stories soon, but right now, I'm completely wiped from the convention.  We did want to let you know, we have dropped a few more SDCC exclusives that we brought back with us. So if you missed out on a chance before, you can get one now.

Additionally, because we know not all of you could make it to San Diego, we had Don Aguillo and Conor Hughes sign a few copies of the exclusive. Conor took it a step further and added a remark to the cover.  (I also signed it too). 

Three of those triple signed and remarked covers are now available as add ons. We'll add three more tomorrow morning around 8am PST. And then we will add one final batch tomorrow evening at 7pm PST.

Hey White Ashians,

We are off to SDCC. If you're planning on meeting us there, we wanted to remind you one last time that we are in a NEW location, Booth 2202 in the Independent Press section. 

Also if you wanted one of the 8 (in total) limited edition SDCC Sketch Covers, there are two Mick Beyers slots left available as add ons.

Those will need to be added on in the next TWO DAYS if you want to have Mick do a SDCC Exclusive Sketch Cover for you.

Sketch Covers Coming Monday

Hello White Ashians,

The campaign continues to steamroll along. We're over 800 backers now and continue to add new people to the White Ash Comics party.  As we mentioned on the campaign page, next week we are moving the party to San Diego for SDCC. If you've swung by our table before, we want to make sure you know we...

...MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION

This year, White Ash Comics can be found in Booth 2202 in the Independent Press Pavilion. 

Conor Hughes and Mick Beyers will be there to sign comics.  They may have a few slots open for commissions but that will be TBD. Conor in particular is tied up with some big mystery news. Details on that soon...  

HOWEVER, through the campaign we will be offering a VERY limited amount of White Ash Comics Annual Sketch Covers.  Conor and Mick will each do one a day.  They will be clearly marked as SDCC 2024 Thursday, SDCC 2024 Friday, etc. So a total of only 4 of these (per artist) will exist.  Conor and Mick both go above and beyond on commissions and are open to most reasonable requests.

We will be dropping these in TWO SLOTS as Add Ons.  The first batch will be released at 9am PST, on Monday the 22nd (next Monday). We will drop the second batch at 7pm PST on the 22nd. The hope is that having the two release times, this will make things fair for people from all time zones around the world to have a chance to get one.  We will reach out to backers who have secured one on Monday night to find out what they'd like Conor and Mick to draw.

We'll have more updates on SDCC next week including Charlie's panel schedule. In the meantime, we want to point out some friends to visit while you're at the  convention. Starting with M. K. Palmer whose Meraki comics booth you can find at G-02 in the Small Press area.  

M.K. also has a kickstarter live for a fun, slightly more adult tale from her Meraki universe called Meraki Sidequest.

The Meraki Universe is a story that's been unfolding since 2016 on kickstarter. It's one of the longer running books on the platform. They just put out issue #11. So if you're looking for a world you can do a deep dive into and a campaign with a bit of spice, you have another 11 days to check this one out. 

Also worth checking out, Don Nguyenputs together an annual "Friends List" of vendors at SDCC. The convention can be overwhelming, so having a cheat sheet of can't miss booths is a great place to start.

What an incredible first 24 hours

Hey White Ashians,

We are thrilled to see you turning out in force once again.  It warms our hearts to see so many names come back campaign after campaign.  Conor and I are in a bit of a whirlwind right now between the Kickstarter and preparing for SDCC. But we wanted to make sure we said... 

That piece of Conor's is an oldie but a goodie.  And we want you to know that the way that Aleck feels about Lillian is the way we feel about you... the platonic feelings that is.

I'll be back later this week to talk stretch goals and what we're doing with Sketch Covers this time around. So stay tuned.
